In 2014 Workplace Pride successfully launched the Workplace Pride Global Benchmark. With 19 participating organizations, the benchmark gave employers an opportunity to assess the impact and effectiveness of their LGBT inclusion policies and practices against the 100% ideal workplace situation as determined by peer-based employers and the LGBT-community.
In 2015 we will build on this success with an improved benchmark. To achieve this a focus group was held on the 18th of March at the office of Foundation member NautaDutilh in Amsterdam bringing together representatives from Cisco, NautaDutilh, ING, Sodexo, Dow, BNP Paribas, IBM, Daimler and Shell. The purpose was to gather their feedback on the 2014 benchmark and discuss ideas and opportunities for improvement.
The importance of the international focus of the benchmark was reinforced with focus group participants coming from The Netherlands, Germany, France and United Kingdom.
Our aim is to have more organizations participating in 2015 learning from each other and collectively improving the workplace for LGBT employees.
Many thanks go out to NautaDutilh for hosting this meeting at their beautiful office and we are looking forward to another successful year for the Global Benchmark!
